The City of Plymouth Extends Long Time Relationship
With First Transit
First Transit continues operations management for Plymouth MetroLink
CINCINNATI— First Transit, Inc., a leading private provider of transit management and the City of Plymouth, Minn., have agreed to a renewal of their current contract for the operation and management of its Plymouth MetroLink service. Since 1989, First Transit has operated fixed-route and paratransit service for the residents of Plymouth. First Transit employs 48 employees and oversees the operation of 37 buses. More than 470,000 people ride MetroLink annually, connecting them to many points throughout the twin cities region.
