 First Transit to Hire 40 Drivers at Las Vegas Job Fair

Full- and part-time employees needed for special needs service.

CINCINNATI—First Transit, Inc., a leading private provider of transit management and contracting services, will participate in the Job Fair Thursday, May 19, at the Texas Station Gambling Hall & Hotel, 2101 Texas Star Lane from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. First Transit seeks to fill 40 full- and part-time driver positions for paratransit (special needs) service.

“We want to hire the best of the best in Las Vegas,” said Allyn Keller, general manager, First Transit. “Applicants must be committed to safe driving practices and possess a sincere desire to work with the public.”

 No professional driving experience is necessary to apply. Applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to work shift hours and days assigned
  • Posses a valid state issued driver’s license
  • Successfully complete the Department of Transportation physical testing
  • Have at least three years of driving experience
  • Pass a thorough pre-employment background screening, and
  • Meet additional company requirements.

 A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required, but is preferred.

Those unable to attend the job fair can apply in person Monday – Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the First Transit North Las Vegas location, 3214 Citizen Ave.
