First Transit to Hire Bus Drivers at National Career Fair in Pittsburgh
Applicants should be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license and enjoy working with the community.
CINCINNATI—First Transit, Inc., a leading private provider of transit management and contracting services, will participate in the National Career Fair, Thursday, March 10, at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center, 401 Holiday Dr. The company is hiring a number of full- and part-time driver positions for paratransit and fixed-route service at their Pike Street, Bethel Park, Frankstown and Charleroi locations.
No professional driving experience is necessary to apply. Applicants must:
- Be able to safely transport passengers in a timely manner and complete all pre- and post-trip shift activities.
- Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience.
- Possess a sincere desire to work with the public, follow all traffic and corporate regulations, and meet additional company requirements.
- Pass the company’s extensive background checks, drug and alcohol tests, and rigorous training program, which includes in-classroom, behind-the-wheel and safety training for new drivers.
No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required, but is preferred.
