Jeff Willhite named Director of Operations for First Transit

Organizational Announcement - Welcome Jeff Willhite
We are pleased to share that Jeff Willhite has joined the company effective November 15thas the Director of Operations for First Transit’s Transit Management Division supporting our call center and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation contracts.
Jeff has been in the transportation management business for over 23 years. He previously managed multiple-location trucking and logistics operations for the Martin-Brower Company, the Noland Company, Marriott Distribution Services, King Provision Corporation, and the United Parcel Service Logistics Group. Most recently, Jeff served as the General Manager and in a regional support role for Logisticare, Inc. In this role, Jeff administered Missouri’s statewide NEMT brokerage serving over 500,000 Medicaid recipients and managed a 55-employee operation with multiple call centers handling over 11,000 calls and processing over 34,000 transportation transactions weekly. Jeff also assisted the company in obtaining, implementing, and managing HMO and managed care transportation contracts throughout a 5-state region including Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Michigan, and Ohio.
Jeff has a B.A. in Management from Kentucky Wesleyan College and a Masters in Business Administration from Strayer College in Virginia.
Along with providing operational support to our existing call center and brokerage locations, Jeff will be using his experience and industry contacts to assist us in pursuing and managing additional contracts in the emerging Non-Emergency Medical Transportation segment of our industry.
