First Transit to Host Job Fair for Drivers in New Jersey

Company seeks to fill paratransit driver positions at new location serving

Morris, Essex, Union & Somerset counties

CINCINNATI—First Transit, Inc., a leading private provider of transit management and contracting services, will host an open job fair on March 26 and 27, 2010, to fill driver positions at its new Union, New Jersey location. This location provides service for the Access Link paratransit transportation system. The company is seeking applicants who have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement.

The job fair will be held at First Transit’s Union office, located at 1200 Springfield Road on Friday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, March 27, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interested applicants who are unable to attend the job fair may submit an application at the First Transit location. Applications will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

First Transit offers a competitive benefits package, paid training, and full-time, year round employment. Applicants must have at least five years of verifiable driving experience, possess a sincere desire to work with the public and meet additional company requirements.
