David Braun Promoted to Director of Business Development, Paratransit and Mobility Services

CINCINNATI, OH – First Transit, a leading provider of public transportation contracting and management services, is happy to announce the promotion of David Braun to Director of Business Development for Paratransit and Mobility Services.

Braun has been a member of the First Transit family for 18 years. Previous to this promotion, he worked for a year as a Proposal Pricing Manager and had great success developing pricing models for bids. With this promotion, Braun is now responsible for seeking out new business in paratransit and mobility services across the United States.

Braun was the General Manager of TANK in Fort Wright, Kentucky, from 2003 to 2005, managing day to day operations and coordinating efforts between departments and with business, county, and state leaders. Prior to managing TANK, Braun was the General Manager for the Greater Peoria Mass Transit District (Peoria, IL) for 4 years. He was the Assistant General Manager there 4 years prior to that. Braun also served as General Manager at the Transit Management of Sioux Falls (Sioux Falls, SD) for 2 years. He held the position of Operations & Planning Consultant, Technical Services Staff in Cincinnati from 1991 to 1993. Braun was also the General Manager for 2 years at The Bus Company in Hamilton, OH. He started at First Transit as an Associate in the Management Development Program.

Braun has a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. He received his Bachelor of Science in Transportation from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
