Triplink Call Center, Salem Oregon
CINCINNATI, OH – First Transit, Inc. has been awarded a contract to serve as the Transportation Agent for Medicaid Non-Emergency Transportation Services and CherryLink Paratransit Services for the Salem Area Mass Transit District (SAMTD) beginning January 1st, 2007.
Kristie Chicolte will remain the Call Center Manager and receive support from Vice President of Transportation Services, Matt Wood. SAMTD currently contracts with 27 transportation companies, running approximately 169 vehicles to provide service to eligible Medicaid clients in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties. As of January 1st, SAMTD will be adding all ADA Paratransit transportation within the Salem-Keizer Urban Growth Boundary and expanding the TripLink brokerage to provide trips for other funding sources and populations. TripLink will double in call volume and scheduled trips due to scheduling an additional 10,000 CherryLift trips per month.
