First Transit Seeks Las Vegas Drivers at March 1 Job Fair

Company to fill 74 driver positions.

CINCINNATI—First Transit, Inc., a leading private provider of transit management and contracting services, will participate in the Lasvegasjobs.com job fair Tuesday, March 1, at the Texas Station Gambling Hall & Hotel, 2101 Texas Star Lane. First Transit seeks to fill 74 full- and part-time driver positions for paratransit (special needs) service.

“We are pleased to participate in this local job fair,” said Allyn Keller, general manager, First Transit. “We want to hire the best drivers in the Las Vegas area, specifically those who are committed to safe driving practices and enjoy working with the community.”

No professional driving experience is necessary to apply. Applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to work shift hours and days assigned
  • Posses a valid state issued driver’s license
  • Successfully complete the Department of Transportation physical testing
  • Have at least three-years of driving experience
  • Possess a sincere desire to work with the public, and
  • Meet additional company requirements.

No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required, but is preferred.

Those unable to attend the job fair can apply in person Monday – Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the First Transit North Las Vegas location, 3214 Citizen Ave.
