First Transit Renews Call Center Contract in Denver, CO

CINCINNATI, OH – In November 2007, First Transit renewed its contract with the Access-A-Ride Call Center for the Regional Transportation District of Denver, Co.  First Transit and the Denver RTD have been working together since 2002.  The heart of the operation, First Transit provides Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) who manage call intake for some 25,000 calls per month.

The Denver Call Center is managed by Rob Andresen, General Manager and David Terada, Operations Manger.  First Transit is responsible for all of access-a-Ride’s 2,600 square mile service area, which includes the mountain community of Boulder. With nearly 500,000 annual passenger trips and 255 service vehicles, access-a-Ride covers eight counties in the Denver Metro region.  There are 50 dedicated employees that receive the 450,000 calls each year.  This management contract is overseen by Region Vice President, Matt Wood.
