South East Area Transit Renews Contract With First Transit
CINCINNATI, OH – First Transit, Inc. has been awarded the first of two one-year options to provide transit management services for South East Area Transit in Zanesville, OH effective April 1, 2007. Steve Connell will continue to serve as General Manager with support from Vice President of Transit Management Services, John Woodford.
South East Area Transit (SEAT) has been a customer of First Transit since 1986 and is the largest rural transit system in Ohio, providing fixed route, paratransit, and contract shuttle service to Muskingum and Guernsey counties, including the municipalities of Zanesville, South Zanesville and Cambridge. SEAT operates four fixed routes in Zanesville and two fixed routes in Cambridge along with ADA compliant paratransit service in both locations with an annual ridership of 243,349.
