Cincinnati, OH – First Transit resigned a contract to continue service for the Metro Nashville Airport shuttle. First Transit inherited this contract after acquiring Cognisa, and is excited to extend its relationship with the airport. The contract renewal is set for a start date in February 2008. It is valued at just over $2 million annually.
The management team for First Transit at the Metro Nashville Airport consists of Jeff Houghton as General Manager and Tommy Vaughn as the Maintenance Manager. First Transit operates 15 shuttles at the airport, with 73 employees. Annual ridership on the shuttle is about 350,000. Metro Nashville Airport is one of 8 airport shuttle contracts that First Transit operates. This contract is overseen by Senior Vice President Brad Thomas and Region Vice President Scott Conroy.
