Franklin Regional Transit Authority Awards First Transit Contract Renewal

CINCINNATI—Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) and the city of Greenfield, Massachusetts have elected to renew their existing contract with First Transit, Inc., a leading provider of transit management and contracting services. First Transit will continue to operate traditional fixed route, Dial-a- Ride and paratransit services that cover the largest and most rural geographical area in the state of Massachusetts. The contract renewal extends the agreement for one year.

First Transit has provided service to the residents of Greenfield since 2008. The new contract took effect on July 1.
