Kansas City Airport Awards Rental Car Shuttle Contract to First Transit
CINCINNATI, OH - First Transit, Inc. was awarded a 5 year, $3.8 million contract to operate the consolidated rental car facility services at the Kansas City International Airport in Missouri. This contract started April 1, 2007. This is a great addition to First Transit's resume of airport rental car shuttle operations, which includes the Houston International Airport and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.
First Transit is proud to announced Daniel Laxson as the Project Manager for the Kansas City RAC. Dan was previously the Assistant General Manager at the IAH Houston Rental Car Shuttle operation in Houston, TX, where he supervised 86 employees and provided leadership for 9 supervisors. He spent 10 years before that at the Portland International Airport as a supervisor. Dan is joined in Kansas City by Eric Johnson, the new Maintenance Manager for the rental car shuttle operations. Eric has spent the last 4 years as an MIT Maintenance Manager at the IAH Houston Rental Car Shuttle operation.
