Allen County Regional Transit Authority Awards Contract to First Transit
CINCINNATI, OH – First Transit, Inc. has been awarded a three year contract by the Allen County Regional Transit Authority (ACRTA), in Lima, Ohio, with up to three, one year options, to provide transit management services.
Scott Stephensen will serve as First Transit’s resident manager. Scott has ten years of transit industry experience, seven of them in management capacities. Scott most recently worked as Operations Manager for Pasadena ARTS Transit and Dial-A-Ride. Scott was introduced at a press conference by Dr. J. Christopher Crawford, President of the ARCTA Board of Trustees. John Woodford, First Transit Region Vice President, will support Scott. John served as Executive Director for ACRTA from 1975-1978. ACTRA provides fixed route and paratransit service with a fleet of 15 vehicles in Lima and Allen County, a community of about 110,000 in northwest Ohio.
