First Transit has experienced tremendous success recently with the award of a number of significant new contracts.  Since July, First Transit has been awarded $44.5 million in new Transit Contracting work and $1 million in Transit Management work.  We have added four new contracts for fixed route services valued at $31.5 million, three new contracts for paratransit services valued at $7.2 million, five new shuttle contracts valued at $4.2 million and one combined fixed route and paratransit contract valued at $1.4 million. 

Along with the new customers choosing First Transit, fifteen customers chose to remain with First Transit and renew their contracts.  Customers found value and superior service solutions through their partnerships with First Transit.  These contracts are valued over $61 million.  Eleven transit contracting locations renewed their contracts, including one of First Transit’s largest customers, Houston Metro.  These contracts totaled to $54 million annually for First Transit.  The transit management teams in Jackson, TN and Manchester, NH were also successful in renewing their contracts, which totaled to about a half million dollars in revenue.  First Transit’s Call Center group also renewed two contracts in Illinois and Denver, valued at $7.3 million combined.  Additional information regarding our new contracts and renewed work can be found using the links below.
